SNOWBOARDING
Gillings competes in the snowboard cross discipline, which sees groups of boarders race each other downhill. In 2005, she shattered her left foot while attempting to jump over a car for a publicity stunt. Doctors told her to find another profession, but she just got back on her board and is now ranked fifth in the world. Kilner will be hoping for success in the half-pipe competition. Young and photogenic, he’s determined to win a higher profile for his sport.
