Superchick

Military Fitness

Best for snow bunnies

Rollerski

Can’t wait for winter? The city may not be the first place you think of for a spot of cross-country skiing but the rollerski club on a Saturday morning in Hyde Park does exactly that. Best for skater boys and girls

Rollerstroll

For another wheel-based workout go for a Sunday rollerstroll. Skaters of all levels can join in. Participants are guided on a different route each week. The only condition for this free event is that you can stop effectively on your skates. (rollerstroll.co.uk)

Best for a bargain

Sweaty Betty
