Make a splash at LA's newest design hotel
This month sees the opening of the eagerly anticipated luxury SLS brand from Starwood Hotels. Putting a new spin on the concept of design hotels, SLS has pulled in big-name collaborators, and Beverly Hills is the first in a series of SLS Hotels around the world. Interiors have been designed created by Philippe Starck and menus by Spanish chef José Andrés. A unique, dedicated design shopping space, Bazaar, is based in the hotel’s lobby and curated by retailer Murray Moss, while the staff's chic uniforms were created by French fashion designer Pascal Humbert. There’s the obligatory LA rooftop pool with views over the city as well as a luxe spa with a host of treatments on offer, and special lifestyle suites for fitness fiends to experience cutting-edge Technogym equipment.
