This month sees the reopening of one of London's loveliest hotels, The Savoy (above), after a decadent overhaul of its 258 guest rooms and public areas by designer Pierre Yves Rochon. The giant renovation of Mayfair's Connaught Hotel has been unveiled in stages since 2008 and is now complete.
