Paris Just opened in Paris is the new Six Senses Rue de Castiglione, the first Six Senses spa in France (westin.com/paris). Located at the Westin Paris, the spa will offer Asian-based treatments, holistic therapies, and half-day ‘sensory journeys’ to totally destress. Elsewhere in Paris, the legendary Le Royal Monceau hotel is to reopen after its 20- month transformation, which cost over £90m. The new rooms and overall design, masterminded by Philippe Starck, promises elegant interiors, ‘big name’ restaurants, cinema, art gallery and innovative events. Watch this space. raffles.com
Shenzhen The new Grand Hyatt Shenzhen has opened in the Luohu District, in southern China. In a stunning 38-floor glass building, the 491-room hotel will offer a penthouse restaurant, a patisserie, and The Show Kitchen, which has four open kitchens so diners can see the chefs in action.
