The lobby does not have air-con (a first for a five-star hotel in India) but instead has been designed to be wind-cooled and has lush vertical hanging gardens made up of 175,000 plants. Other initiatives include energy and water efficiency, solar energy, a rainwater harvesting system and zero solid waste, ensuring the hotel remains carbon positive.
