Fashion designer Antonio Berardi revals what's in his suitcase

My ancient baseball cap goes with me everywhere. It is now so old I've had to superglue it back together. I always take white shirts with me — they make you look dapper and you never know when you need to smarten up.
A friend gave me a traditional Brazilian lucky charm that I wear along with my crucifix. I take a picture of my parents wherever I go. They are no longer here, but it makes me feel safe.
I'm an avid reader and love my Amazon Kindle. It is perfect for travelling because you can download books wherever you are. My Kindle is really a testing ground — if I love a book, I buy a hard copy.
I always travel with a Moleskine notebook and plenty of pens to sketch ideas on the go. I like to use brown ink.
My favourite aftershave is also a must. It's called Vetiver Extraordinaire by Frederic Malle and comes in travel-size 10ml bottles. People associate it with me now.
