Globe-Trotter luggage is my favourite. I have all of my suitcases colour-coded to match my burlesque costumes. I travel with a lot of costume jewellery. I have a huge collection from the 30s, 40s and 50s. I also collect vintage powder compacts and lipstick cases.
At least ten different red lipsticks are always packed. I wear a lot of YSL and I love MAC Russian Red. I transfer them all into vintage cases.
My favourite books are almost always nonfiction. I like reading about people's lives, especially burlesque performers of the past or movie stars that I find intriguing. One of my favourites is Mae West - I love reading her quotes.
I've recently designed a coffret that is perfect for carrying all my precious things. I knew right away how I wanted it to look. The material feels like something you'd find in glamorous lingerie.
Personalised stationery is always in my suitcase since I write a lot of thank-you notes on flights. One set is gold-stamped on ivory with my monogram, and the other ties with a burgundy bow and has my initials on the edge.
I love it when I get letters, so I always write back. I use a Montblanc pen with a burgundy rose-scented ink.
