I'm very neat and tidy, and think about packing rather a lot — in a slightly weird way. I think it through, then pile it up and halve it.
My iPod is full of 80s stuff from bands like The Jam. The Rocky theme tune pumps me up in the morning and the last track I downloaded was Alicia Keys' Empire State of Mind. But my favourite song is Valerie — it was my first iTunes purchase. When I met Mark Ronson, he said: 'You must have got your iPod late.' Boris [Johnson] should get his act together and commission a song about London for the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
I read a book a day on holiday. This year, I took Peter Mandelson's The Third Man away with me.
I'd happily take a Lib Dem with me on holiday. I've already trekked across the Arctic with Nick Clegg. He's probably far too important to go away with me now. Perhaps Vince Cable and I could go and watch tango in Buenos Aires?
A T-shirt is a great holiday memento. I went through a phase of collecting the Hard Rock Cafe T-shirts. I bought one in Beirut, which I thought was cool, but Sharm El Sheikh was a step too far so I stopped.
