There's an unwritten rule in the office that you have to bring something edible back

Jay Osgerby All you need when you
travel is a wallet, phone charger and
adaptor — oh and a passport. My son once hid my passport in the till of his toy shop and I only found it hours before travelling — so I've got two now just in case.

Edward Barber I always travel with an iPad, it's so lightweight and you can email, but somehow it doesn't feel like work.

JO Ed and I are always travelling together. We chat, occasionally sketch things, then relax. I only take hand luggage. I like Ally Capellino's Jimmy bag — it's the perfect size.

EB My favourite luggage is a leather bag by Porter, a Japanese brand. I travel so much I just move things from one bag to another.

JO I always go to flea markets when I'm away. I found some really beautiful grey porcelain tea containers in a market in Shanghai.

EB I bought a beautiful Thonet chair in Sweden recently. It was made in 1929 by Hoffman, a real find. There's an unwritten rule in the office that you have to bring something edible back, so there are often bags of rice crackers from Japan in my hand luggage.

JO I flew to Greece to see the Torch being lit. It was so exciting I could hardly sleep.
