Going to Paris makes me very nostalgic. It's where I was born and a lot of my family
and friends still live there. My favourite places are the Art Deco Café de Flore, and the historic Shakespeare and Company bookshop on the Left Bank. It used to be a meeting place for the likes of Ernest Hemingway and James Joyce. And I like walking along the Seine.
When I was studying in America, the place I missed most was my home in Oxford. It's my favourite hideaway. Covent Garden and Soho are my London haunts — they have such a lively, buzzy atmosphere.
I love going to the theatre here and we have so many amazing cinemas, libraries and bookshops in England.
I enjoy visiting places at night. It's much more romantic and everything just looks prettier somehow. Maybe it's because the
light seems so warm and soft.
I remember my dad taking us on vacation to the South of France. It's one of my
most treasured holiday memories. We visited a perfumer and at the end of it, Dad let me choose a fragrance. My stepmum got very cross because she thought I was too young
to wear perfume. I think I was seven years
old. I still have it now and have tried to get
it replicated.
I am English and pale, so I love blusher. It would have to be a beauty travel essential. I always take moisturiser, too, when I travel on planes. And I carry perfume everywhere with me.
If I could sit next to anyone flying long haul, it would be Julia Roberts. I've entered the Lancôme family alongside Julia Roberts, Penélope Cruz and Kate Winslet. I've met Kate and Penélope, but not Julia. I grew up watching Notting Hill and Pretty Woman and
I always felt so drawn to her.
Emma Watson is the face of Lancôme's Trésor Midnight Rose. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 is showing on selected flights. As told to Ianthe Butt.
