Sea fishing in the Bahamas takes some beating. You've got the sun blazing, a cold beer on the go and this crystal-clear blue ocean in front of you. Whenever I'm travelling, I try to find time to take part in the local fishing. It's in my blood.

I was recently at the Zurich Film Festival to pick up an award and I have to say, the city is very clean and very beautiful, just as I had imagined it to be. Maybe a little quiet, but I think the locals like it that way.

San Francisco really is one of America's most stunning cities. Filming Pacific
Heights seems a long time ago now but it was great to make a movie in an iconic neighbourhood with such great architecture. Spend your time just walking around -
you'll never get bored.

I grew up obsessed with stories about the Wild West, maybe because I was raised in Pennsylvania on the East Coast. I suppose that's why I love going to Utah for Robert Redford's Sundance Film Festival. I can understand why he fell in love with the beauty of the state after he filmed Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid there.

The Treasure of the Sierra Madre has to be my favourite movie. It stars Humphrey Bogart but it also shows off the sheer beauty of Tampico in central Mexico. It's a great tale about prospecting for gold, but the landscape is also wonderfully shot by the great director John Huston.

When you get an offer to film Much Ado About Nothing in Italy with Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Denzel Washington, Kate Beckinsale and Keanu Reeves, you don't think life could get any better. Then I find out we are shooting on
the Vignamaggio estate in Tuscany, where
the Mona Lisa was painted by Leonardo
da Vinci. Just to complete this vision of paradise, they also produce some of the
best Chianti in the world.
