At the end of a walking holiday along the Amalfi Coast, we stayed for three days on the Isle of Capri at Casa Mariantonia. This small, newly opened guesthouse was a delight in every way. Located in Anacapri, it is ideally situated, with a chairlift to Monte Solaro just ten minutes away. Expecting Capri to be over-crowded, we were amazed to discover that we were virtually on our own walking along the Sentiero dei Fortini coastal route, which is marked with painted tiles of local wildflowers. Returning to our guesthouse, our hosts could not have done enough to make us welcome and comfortable. A haven in every way.
