Reader Amelia O'Rear from California sings Bogotá's praises
We recently returned from a family wedding in Bogotá in Colombia. One tends to hear negative stories about this city but I would highly recommend it as a holiday destination. The Gold Museum especially is spectacular with its displays of more than 34,000 precious artefacts. And don’t miss out on a rib-sticking meal of baked or fried arepas, the traditional and delicious cornmeal pancakes popular throughout Colombia.
