Hamleys
I love Hamleys toy shop because I'm just a big kid at heart! I love the doll kits and the make-up accessories they have for young girls. For me it had to be a Girl's World — one of those heads on a stand — because I was a very girly little girl. I was obsessed with it — doing the hair and make-up for hours and hours. I think Hamleys is a treasure trove of opportunities for kids.

Clinique
I used to spend an absolute fortune on Clinique's spray-on fake tan — especially in the old days when I was getting up really early to present The Big Breakfast on TV. Now I stock up when I'm at a really good duty-free shop like at New York’s JFK airport because you usually save a lot of money buying Clinique in the States.

Portobello Market
I really love old school disco and anything retro like the hot pants Kylie Minogue wore in her Spinning Around video. I read they were found by her stylist at Portobello Market – and anyone visiting London should really visit the market to find rare fashion items. Try One Of A Kind (1kind.com).

Zilli
I've known Aldo Zilli for many years. He's a brilliant Italian cook but the great thing is that after eating at one of his restaurants people feel so in love with the cuisine of Italy that they want to know more. You can buy one of his cookbooks to convince your friends to eat this healthily too.
Zilli Fish, 36-40 Brewer Street, Soho, London, W1, zillialdo.com
Louis Vuitton
I've always been a huge fan of Louis Vuitton, partly because I don't think there is really much point spending huge amounts of money on things that aren't made very well. I hope my LV bags will last me for years. The Paris shop is probably my idea of retail heaven!
