Barely a season goes by without a slew of creative collaborations, and for spring it’s our shoes that designers are focusing on.
Balmain (balmain.com) is a current favourite of the fashion world, and its designer, Christophe Decarnin, has worked with Giuseppe Zanotti on this spring’s gorgeous studded and crystal-embellished sandals.
Italian brand Sergio Rossi (sergiorossi.com) is joining forces with sportswear label Puma on a shoe range that will include the classic Clyde sneaker (launched in 1973), now reinvented in sorbet-coloured satins. There are high-heeled versions, too, available at Colette in Paris.
Meanwhile, Sigerson Morrison has teamed up with Scottish knit specialists Pringle (pringlescotland.com) to create strappy platform shoes in soft pastels.
Go east for a unique taste of London, with chic shops, fabulous food and magnificent markets.
