The edge of Wales makes its silver-screen debut

Wales’s Carmathen coast inspired poet Dylan Thomas’s finest work. The wild Aeron valley was the location for the steamy relationship between Thomas, his wife Caitlin, and his first lover, Vera. And it’s a tale revealed in the wartime biopic The Edge of Love, starring Keira Knightley. Check out the sensitively restored Ty Mawr Mansion (+44 (0)1570 470 033, tymawrmansion.co.uk), where the cast stayed during filming. The grade-II listed Georgian house is the perfect contemporary country retreat. The Edge of Love is showing on selected flights this month.
