Fast, free and reliable Wi-Fi from take‑off to touchdown
Starlink brings the fastest Wi-Fi in the sky
British Airways’ first aircraft equipped with Starlink Wi-Fi took to the skies on 19 March on a flight to Houston, Texas. Becoming the first UK airline to launch this innovative Wi-Fi on board, BA is currently in the process of fitting Starlink on all its 787-8 aircraft. British Airways’ entire fleet of nearly 300 aircraft will have this powerful new technology installed in the next two years, delivering fast, reliable Wi-Fi, from take off to touchdown, free for all customers.
Powered by more than 10,000 satellites in low-Earth orbit, Starlink delivers a more dependable and faster internet experience with speeds of up to 500+ Mbps. Customers will be able to seamlessly work, shop, connect and browse sites, including High Life. It will be available across all cabins on multiple devices completely free of charge.

BA Better World Community Fund back on board
From 1 May–31 December, on-board customer donations will once again support the BA Better World Community Fund. All cash donations raised during this collection period will be split equally between our five principal Community Fund charity partners – Alzheimer’s Society, The Earthshot Prize, The King’s Trust, British Red Cross and the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).
The Community Fund has raised more than £10m since its launch in 2022, supporting more than 350 charities and projects that align with the company’s BA Better World sustainability programme.
