Don’t stop celebrating now, as 2026 also marks the 20th anniversary of CallBA – home to two contact centres within British Airways’ Customer Care family. CallBA’s team of more than 2,000 highly trained colleagues provides round-the-clock support to British Airways customers across the world.

Helping to reduce plastic pollution and poverty
British Airways is proud to partner with Plastic Bank with the aim of further reducing plastic pollution. To advance this goal, the airline is incorporating recycled Social Plastic® into Club World, First and children’s headsets. It’s made from plastic waste sourced from coastal regions, which is hand-gathered by local communities and exchanged for money and social benefits – helping people to pave a path out of poverty while creating environmental, social and economic impact. To date, British Airways has included 2,935.6kg of Social Plastic® in its headsets, equivalent to more than 146,000 waste plastic bottles.
